A walk for which was the house of the childhood and adolescence of Ernesto Guevara Lynch and that then became the mythical one "Che" Guevara.

To speak of High Grace implies to be remitted, among other undeniable things, to the place that saw Ernesto grow "Che" Guevara. In this small Cordovan city, the man's character was forged that in 1959, together with Fidel Castro and other guerillas fighters, they carried out the Cuban Revolution.
From their 4 years of age and up to their 16, the small one "Tete" - as they called him for that time- lived in this city and it was able to mitigate the effects of the asthma that had thanks to the dry climate of the region. could carry out the activities of the children of their age, cultivating friendships and enjoying the freedom that so deep it soaked in the spirit of who was the "Che."
In honor to this man become in myth, the city possesses an interesting museum located in the place that once was its house. In their interior, surrenders cult to their memory, to their life, to the boy, to the youth, to the friend and the figure universal revolutionary.
We invite them to discover this house virtually and to feel, through our pictures and our humble look, the echo of their steps.

The house

Neither well we enter to the house, we meet with the hall that possesses a series of pictures of the different housings that the family Guevara of the Serna inhabited High Grace. Ernesto's bust is exhibited carried out by the plastic artist Luis Hourgras with the technique of the casting in skated plastic resin and a gigantografía with the famous image of the "Che" that the world traveled and that it was taken by Alberto Díaz Gutiérrez March 5 1960. Also, the enclosure contains a replica of its signature and of its uniform.

Their bedroom

In the contiguous room, on the right, is what was the bedroom of "Ernestito." In her their siblings' different images Celia and Roberto can be seen, of their partners of. school and different bulletins with the notes that put him their teachers. Clearly the strong inclination is evidenced by the social thing, since its more outstanding notes are related with matters of that character.

The books that are exhibited in this room are some of the titles that Ernesto read in his childhood, since the reading was one of their big passions. From very small their favorite books didn't always go in agreement to their age. In their puberty read Freud, Bodelaire and to their favorite ones: Salgari and Verne. Also, one can see one of their first letters directed to their aunt Beatriz, with who always maintained a very special relationship.

Their parents

Beside their room, was that of their parents. A gigantografía of them with Ernestito in arms newly born squatter the central place of the room. Bibs and a cloth can be observed painted by Celia Of the Serna (their mother) and the farewell letter to their parents, written by Ernesto in March of 1965.

Their siblings

More family pictures are watered by the whole atmosphere. In particular one of Ernesto with their siblings playing to the Indians and cowboys. Birthday pictures and testimonies written by their friends of the childhood.

The common spaces

Lastly, you can travel the rest of the house where they are objects detacados of Ernesto, as their chess, their first golf sticks, a replica of the bicycle with which 4000 km , and a map traveled with the itineraries carried out in its different trips. In the kitchen, the place where Ernesto took refuge when his asthma attacks didn't allow it to leave to play with their friends, they can be the recipes that it clipped for doña Rosarito, the cook that took care of it and it accompanied during his childhood. Along the whole house, they are different letters written by the "Che", directed to their children and Fidel Castro. Squares can be observed with summaries of their performance in the Cuban Revolution, their diplomatic activities, their function like president of the National Bank of Cuba , their capture and later death in Bolivia . Fragment of the speech that their daughter pronounces Aleida when accompanying her father's remains in her last trip to re-encontrarse with the Cuban town who receives it that same year and erects in his honor a mausoleum where today rests its remains.

They have surely been escaped many things in this small description on Ernesto's museum Guevara, but it is certain that the objective of the community of High Grace was reached. From this place, it is shown what it was it that "Teté" found and it felt to create the personality and the character of who was projected in the history like the "Che."

We learned how to love you from the historical height where the sun of your bravery put a fence to the death... ( Carlos Puebla 1965)

"...Here stays the white, the beloved transparency, of your dear presence Major Che Guevara."
