This located at 25km of Zapala for the Route that takes to Las Lajas, and happening for “Agua de los Alazanes”, you will go up 5 km for a path to an abandoned marble quarry.
 
25 km from Zapala along the route to Las Lajas , and passing by “Agua de los Alazanes” , you must travel 5 km along a trail to an abandoned marble quarry.
    
There you walk 100 metres to the left and arrive at an area of red petrified coral that you can observe in a cutting of Cordón Curymil, which is 2 m. high and 100 m. long.

For this excursion it is convenient to hire the service of a guide in town to show you the way.
    
There are 45 km from Zapala along the route to Las Lajas and then 5 km along a trail.
    
The opening of the cave is narrow and leads to a wide gallery approximately 20 m. wide and 20 m. high and some 65 m. deep in a descendind slope to the lagoon of transparent waters.
