One of the fishing areas fewer traveled at the present time correspond to the river Uruguay in the sector denominated Jumps of the Moconá. It is a longitudinal flaw in the channel of the river that has originated, only in their gender in the world, a lateral jump of the whole bed of the river that few miles before receive the important contribution of the river Pepirí Guazú, coming from the solid power station of Misiones.

The Jump of the Moconá offers the guarantee of the difficult access for the Argentinean part and of corresponding, in the opposed, Brazilian riverside, to one of the biggest national parks in the neighboring republic.
